National Vintage Awards Photographer of the Year
On Wednesday night I attended the National Vintage Awards and was awarded the Vintage Photographer of The Year Award. What an honour! I have always loved my job and my goal has always been to create really high end, beautifully lit portraits for my clients so to have a wider recognition for my work was really heart warming .
The Vintage Scene clearly is booming and I am starting to get much more of an feel for just the new scene is developing. There is an ever growing circle of pin up models, designers, promoters and musicians who populate it. So as ever lubricated with champagne I had an amazing night catching up with October DeVine and her Pin Up Academy models, the team at Vintage life Magazine my old pal Missy Malone who appears as The Bride of Frankenstein in the gallery.
These awards are great and I am especially keen on seeing amazing , quirky businesses like the Bygone Photobooth be recognised for their work at future events.
A huge thank you again to everyone who took the time to vote its prompted me to become more involved than I have been on the scene but for now I am building at tropical Tiki set for a shoot on Monday !
